Hugo Melvin Aldana

Rev. Hugo Melvin Aldana received an honorary doctorate on February 26, 2022. He holds a master's degree from Azusa University and is an ordained minister of the Church of the Nazarene. He originated with the Quakers of Eastern Guatemala. There, he worked as an itinerant evangelist, serving as a preaching and music minister. He pastored the church in Puerto Barrios, where he achieved great success and also served as district superintendent. He eventually moved to Los Angeles, where he served as pastor of the Panorama City church. From there, he led a significant radio ministry for the Church of Eastern Guatemala, serving as an instrument for the evangelization of thousands of people. He has served God for more than fifty years and has set an example of ethics and service.
